In fact, Winston Churchill, as well as Charles Trenet and Alfred Hitchcock, enjoyed the authentic Moroccan cuisine, and they were delighted in watching the oriental dances. Also, some of the scenes of Hitchcock’s famous film “The Man Who Knew Too Much” was even filmed here.

Simohamed Junior is currently managing this restaurant, which was founded by his father in 1952. The originality of the place has been preserved since that time. It has a number of rooms, each of which reflects a particular story and architectural style. You can choose your favourite environment, which can be an Arabic-Andalusian room with large fountains, or a typical Islamic room with rich ornamented ceilings and doors, or the Salon “Marjane” with impressive wood decorations and traditional mosaics.
