In the heart of the Médina of Marrakech, not far from the Koran school Ben Youssef, halfway to the tanneries, the Maison de la Photographie awaits you. Immerse yourself in the exciting world of images and discover Morocco, like you have never seen it, in over 8,000 photos.

Patrick and his team will explain to you the individual images and premises, and take you on a journey into the past of this varied country.

The exhibition shows images from 1870 to 1950. While you are watching the award-winning movie about the tribe of the Amazigh Berbers, who are based in the High Atlas, will be shown. Within 90 minutes, the film by Daniel Chicault will give you insight into the life and the daily routine of the Berbers.

Afterwards you have the option to end your trip by staying on the roof terrace of the house, and have a delicious mint tea or a freshly prepared Tajine. The Panorama of the old town with the Atlas in the background invites you to do so!
