What to Expect
The Café du Livre is a combination of a restaurant, bar and bookshop – so something to suit everyone’s taste. Slightly hidden in the backyard of the Hotel Toulousain, the café serves various dishes all day long and also offers a variety of Tapas and “finger food”. We recommend you to taste at least Liz’ notorious chocolate cake…
The café contains a reading corner that consists of over 2,000 books of all kind of languages and that also preserves some insider tips about Morocco. Throughout the evening hours the café regularly hosts special events. Thus every Monday for example, local expats meet here to take part in Liz’ famous Anglophone Quiz-Night – a perfect occasion to get in touch with the local expat community and additionally, to land a great prize. Every Friday and Saturday you will find here live music from 7-10 PM with well-known English, Spanish and Arabic songs.
